Dialogue will bring you current and controversial debates on key water and livelihoods themes

Before we launch this service wewant your feedback on the issues of most interest to you. What do you need to know about? Whose views are you interested in hearing? What issues plague your thoughts and you're desperate to air? Here are a fewpossible future debates. We would make participation as easy as possible, whilst wanting to ensure that the forum remains manageable! Suggested topics:

  • Summer 2003 - How can we improve our understanding of livelihoods and 'demand'?
  • Autumn 2003 - Where and how is conflict and water security an issue in water and livelihoods interventions?
  • Winter 2003/4 - How can we extend our understanding of housheold gender issue through water and livelihoods approaches?
  • Spring 2004 - Whose policy is DRA? Does it work, can it work, will it work?

Please let us have your comments on the above and any alternative subject that you can think of. Please let us know what experience you could bring to these and other debates, your likely level of input and how you would like the system to be organised. We are keen to get the Dialogue sessions up and running as soon as possible.
